3. Robotic Hernia Repair:

   • Advanced Technique: Similar to laparoscopic surgery, robotic repair uses robotic arms controlled by the surgeon for precise movements.
   • Enhanced Precision: This approach may provide improved accuracy and flexibility, particularly for complex hernias or repairs in hard-to-reach areas.

Hernia surgery is generally recommended when:

• There is an increased risk of complications, such as incarceration (when the hernia becomes trapped) or strangulation (when blood flow to the trapped tissue is cut off).
